Through the Mist emerges
The slowly fading remnants
Of what must have truly been
The most brilliant of sunsets.

Stand on a beach and look outward.
See the eternal abundance
Of Earth, Sky, Sea, and Time.
See it stretch out before you –
Majestic and beyond comprehension.
Such is this Universe in which you exist.

Stand on that same beach and look inward.
See that same eternal abundance
Of your own Eternal Being.
See it stretch out within you –
Majestic and beyond comprehension.
Such is the Universe that exists within you.

Where Magic Happens

There’s a place where magic happens
A place where I can go
Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall
This I always know.

And so when all else fails
And I can’t find the shot
I go where magic happens
My very favorite spot.

One of These Days

One of these days
The sun will set
Upon your final day.
